The PC-based receiver is USB-controlled and compatible with modern desktop and laptop computers with USB interface. An optional serial interface is also available.

The G305e receiver plugs into an available USB port of an IBM-compatible PC. The G305e-WFM comes with the wide-band FM demodulation factory-installed option. A Software Defined Radio (SDR) is such where demodulation and last IF (intermediate frequency) processing are done entirely in software. Convert your desktop PC into a most sophisticated radio monitoring station!
